Exploring the Best of New York City in 72 Hours

Welcome to my whirlwind journey through the city that never sleeps! New York City, with its iconic skyline, bustling streets, and endless possibilities, captured my heart during a recent 72-hour trip. Join me as I share my favorite New York stops, from savoring mouthwatering pizza at Prince Street Pizza to experiencing the tastiest hot chocolate at Glace. I'm here to share all the details about my favorite spots and must-do activities, so you can make the most of your NYC adventure.

1. Savoring Slice Perfection at Prince Street Pizza

First up, let's discuss the top-notch pizza joint: Prince Street Pizza. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of SoHo, this place is truly remarkable. Their pepperoni slice is renowned, with crispy crusts, gooey cheese, and toppings that'll make your taste buds dance. Their sauces are handmade daily from scratch and they live by the motto “if you can put it on pasta you can put it on pizza”. Trust me, tasting their pizza is a memorable moment for anyone experiencing New York.

2. Viral Hot Chocolate at Glace

After satisfying my pizza cravings, I ventured to Glace for a sweet treat. Not only is their hot chocolate exceptional, they’re a hub of urban design, great food, and kind service. Their hot chocolate is topped with a generous amount of whipped cream which makes a delightful treat on chilly NYC days.

3. Latte at Coffee for Sasquatch

At this point it was time for a midday pick me up so we headed to Coffee for Sasquatch where I experienced the most delicious latte. It was the perfect place to warm up and get a boost of energy for the rest of the day ahead.

4. Slow Down and Soak Up the Romance at Elizabeth Street Park

Amid the city's hustle and bustle, my husband and I found a moment of peace at Elizabeth Street Park in the heart of Little Italy & Soho. Strolling hand in hand and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, it was a much-needed escape from the city's commotion.

5. Rest and Recharge at CitizenM Hotel

My home away from home during these 72 hours was the stylish CitizenM Hotel in the Lower East Side right by Chinatown and Little Italy. From the moment I stepped into my tech-savvy room with its mood lights, electric blinds, and stunning views, I knew I was in for a comfortable stay. Whether I was relaxing in my room or collaborating in the shared workspace, CitizenM Hotel served as the ideal home base for my NYC adventures.

6. Dinner and an Outfit Check at the Chelsea Hotel

Of course, no trip to NYC would be complete without a fine dining experience. Enter the Chelsea Hotel, where we enjoyed a sophisticated dinner inspired by traditional French cuisine and absorbed the elegant vibes. And yes, I may have taken a moment to do an outfit check in the bathroom mirror because why not?

7. Get Crafty at Monster DIY Studio

For a hands-on creative experience, I headed to Monster DIY Studio in Queens. From designing phone cases to customizing tote bags, the studio offered a range of workshops to unleash my inner artist. With some guidance, I experimented with colors, textures, and techniques, creating a one-of-a-kind DIY phone case souvenir to remember my NYC adventure.

My 72-hour trip to New York City was a whirlwind of excitement, discovery, and unforgettable experiences. From savoring the perfect slice at Prince Street Pizza to exploring hidden gems like Elizabeth Street Park, every moment was filled with wonder and delight. Until next time, NYC!
